Clarkes of Stillington Plate and Profiles Ltd (COSPPL) are an independent company whose origins on this site can be traced back over 70 years to 1946. The current owners purchased the company in 1999 and have developed and expanded the company products and services to make the company what it is today.
COSPPL hold a large stock of plate in EN 10025 S275JR, S355J2+N and S355NL which is used to service many manufacturing sectors including general steel fabrications, Yellow Goods, Mining, Marine, Offshore as well as Wind Power and Nuclear. Sectors that require a precision, quality product delivered to tight deadlines.

4000 tonnes of carbon plate stocked on our 2.25 acre site and additional stock available at the UK docks for immediate call off we are usually able to cover any immediate needs of our clients.
Pallet Plate
Clarkes of Stillington are experienced manufactures of all sizes and gauges of quality flat pallet plates for use in the concrete block and brick making industry.

SPECIFICATION
EN 10025 S275JR is the general standard specification for most construction applications.
With a Tensile Strength of between 430 N/mm2 to 580 N/mm2 and a minimum Yield Strength of 275 N/mm2, depending on thickness, it has good welding and cutting properties making it an excellent choice for all general fabrication requirements.

EN 10025 S355J2+N has the higher Tensile of 510 N/mm2 to 680 N/mm2 and a Yield of 355 N/mm2, depending upon thickness. The higher strength together with the similar weldability and cutting properties make it an ideal alternative to S275JR when weight savings of up to 30% can be achieved. The additional low impact test properties of -20 Deg C make this specification of interest where final product is to be used in cold or exposed locations.

EN 10025 S355NL combines the higher Yield and Tensile properties of S355J2+N, but with additional Impact properties at -50 Deg C. This enables the steel to keep its characteristics at extremely cold locations such as the arctic or offshore applications.
